Police are appealing for information after a dog attack on a flock of sheep in Andreas resulted in the deaths of two animals.
The incident occurred in a field on Oatlands Road, near the roundabout, sometime between 8am and 5pm on Tuesday, 14th October.
The Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team has reported that the occupants of several vehicles were seen trying to catch a large dog in the area during the afternoon.
Two sheep died as a result of the attack while two others required treatment by a vet and others were left stressed.
Officers are urging anyone with information, including a description of the dog or its whereabouts, to come forward. They are also appealing to motorists who may have relevant dashcam footage.
