Arbory and Rushen Parish Commissioners has continued its work to clear footpaths in the south.
It has said it wants all footpaths it is responsible for to be trimmed back in the next few weeks.
Across this week it has shared work that it has had done to clear the routes for walkers.
It said: “Sincere thanks to our hardworking contractor, Steve Booth, who undertakes the work for us. Thorough, reliable, responsive – gura mie ayd!”
And added: “He is also going to go up to cut the one that runs from Howe Rd to Meayll Hill (250), then the one that runs across the bottom side of Meayll Hill on Friday (248).
“This is superb work as that will mean the bigger more overgrown ones done. Hopefully the Scard loop will be done next week. Thank you Steve. Walkers/hikers will appreciate this with the sunny weather drawing people out into the countryside.”
