A new initiative aimed at supporting and recognising young Manx talent across all disciplines of athletics has been launched.

The Emerging Athlete Award includes a £1,000 grant, and is designed to assist athletes aged 17 to 23 in their sporting journey.

Whether that be through travel, coaching, equipment, or physiotherapy.

Applications are now being distributed through athletics clubs across the island or can be found here.
