Braddan Bridge to be One Way

Braddan Bridge will be made one way next week to allow for repairs to be done a utilities access chamber.

At 6:30pm on Wednesday (April 16) Braddan Bridge will be made one way in the direction of Union Mills between the Jubilee Oak roundabout and the Braddan Church roundabout.

This is to facilitate permanent repairs to a utilities access chamber that is located on the Douglas side of the Braddan Church roundabout.

One Way

West bound traffic from Douglas (towards Saddle Road and Union Mills) will be as normal.

Douglas bound traffic from the west (Union Mills) will follow a marked diversion route via Saddle Road, New Castletown Road to Quarterbridge.

There will be no right turn from Saddle road towards Braddan Bridge at the Braddan Church junction.

Traffic arrangements will revert to normal before 8am on Thursday (April 17).
