The Isle of Man Government will host the 41st Summit meeting of the British-Irish Council (BIC).
This Summit meeting will be attended by political leaders and officials from the BIC Member Administrations and will focus on renewable energy, specifically ways to ‘unlock the economic and social opportunities of renewables across these islands’.
The British-Irish Council was established under the 1998 Belfast/Good Friday Agreement to promote good, practical, positive, and mutually beneficial relations between the people across these islands.
It is the fifth time the Island has hosted the Summit.
The time, date and location of the Summit hasn’t been revealed.
