The men’s 4×400 metres relay team of Ben Sinclair, Sam Perry, Regan Corrin and Ryan Corrin have broken the Isle of Man U20 Men’s record with a superb time of 3:31.4 in Leigh.
This takes 2.4 seconds off the previous record which has stood since 2008.
It was the final event of the Northern League match which Team Isle of Man have won by an absolute landslide.
The previous record of 3:33.8 from 2008 was set by Conor Delanbanque, Mark Lean, Tom Richmond and Michael Haslett, which was a Manx Harriers quartet.
