Beach Buddies is heading to a new location this weekend, focusing on the area around St Ninian’s High School in Bemahague, Onchan.
The clean-up event begins at 10:30am this morning.
Phil Corlett, a long-standing member of Isle of Man Friends of the Earth and a supporter of Beach Buddies, has highlighted the urgent need for action.
Beach Buddies said: Our weekend events are for everyone – families, social groups, sports clubs, companies, individuals, young and old.
“A warm welcome always awaits. Please say hello if you are taking part for the very first time.”
Volunteers are encouraged to join in the community effort to tackle litter in the Bemahague area.
