Tywnald has voted to approve this year’s Budget.
Two third of MHKs voted for the final budget of this administration.
While the headlines will be grabbed by the rise in tax thresholds, there is also an extra £45m for health care and Increasing National Insurance Class 1 Primary and Secondary Thresholds and Class 4 Lower Profits Limit .
After a lengthy debate in which several key issues were curtsied, including the issue of how to pay for all of this and the continued used of the reserves, the budget passed with relative ease.
