A bus has been involved in an incident resulted in several of its windows being smashed and the closure of a road in the south of the island.
The bus, running a 12A service, is currently stopped at the bottom of Fishers Hill near the entrance to the car park for Poyll Breinn.
A reader who passed by the scene said it appeared that the bus had collided with a crane.
The reader told Manx.News: “Bus heading PSM direction was on the lay-by and the crane just exiting the bend heading to Castletown.
“Glass over the road and no emergency services there.”
Bus Vannin has said: “Due to an ongoing incident the following service has been cancelled.
“13:14 Port Erin to Victoria Street. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.”
The Police had closed the road between the junctions of Kentraugh Back Road, Gansey through Fishers Hill up to Ballakaighen Corner but it has since reopened.
