The owner of a business in Ballasalla says it is struggling with a lack of footfall in the village.
Owner Abby Quirk posted on the business’ Facebook page to outline its difficulties.
She said: I hate reading posts like this, let alone writing one. We’ve been open seven months and we’re struggling.
“We opened to be here for our community and bring people to Ballasalla. Yet the footfall is minimal.
“I don’t know how much longer we can cover the costs before we call it a day. We live for this place, I don’t want to take drastic measures but right now, The Quirky Teapot is struggling and we need you.
“That’s my truth. I’m not sure what else to do. Ideas are welcome.”
