The island will be represented across several sports today as the final medals for Orkney 2025 are decided.
Currently in fourth, the Manx team has shone across all sports with everyone doing themselves proud.
Athletics
In the athletics, Mark Burman, Jordan Cain and Corrin Leeming will lead the charge in the men’s half marathon, while Christa Cain, Dawn Atherton and Emily Mylchreest compete in the women’s race.
Hope Lewis will be competing in the women’s 800m while Ryan Corrin and Sam Perry are in the men’s race.
We also have teams competing in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays.
Badminton
Kim Clague and Jessica Li will face the Faroe Islands in the women’s double final.
Cycling
Tyler Hannay, Niall Quiggin, Callum Salisbury, Ivan Sorby and Mark Horsthuis will be looking to add to a successful week on the bikes in the men’s road criterium.
Football
The women’s side will play Bermuda in the final of the women’s tournament, while the men’s side face Jersey in the battle for bronze.
Gymnastics
Amara Brogan, Aine Matthews, Harry Eyres, Fraser McKenna, Lacey Jackson, Elise Pease, Josh Clarkson and Martin Vorster all in action across a series of disciplines.
Squash
The squash team, consisting of Hannah Dixon, Patrick Fitzpatrick, Josh Green, Beth Jones, Clare Townsend and Tom Whiteway has games against Gibraltar and Shetland.
