Plans have been submitted for a campsite to welcome 10 motorhomes, up to 15 pitched tents and three shepherds’ huts in the north of the island.
Mr and Mrs Brew have submitted the plans for a field off Summerhill Road in Jurby.
The plans, submitted by Sarah Corlett Town Planning Consultancy, detail that the shepherds’ huts “will be located at the northern end of the site, around an existing small pond”.
It adds: “The tented pitches will be immediately to the south of this with a car park and the shower and toilet buildings to the south of this.”
The maximum occupancy levels if all camping areas were occupied at once, would be around 80 people.
