Prospective candidates are being reminded that they must be registered to vote before they can stand in this year’s elections.
The deadline to register or update personal details is Monday, July 27, with the process available online.
Nomination papers, ID evidence and declarations of relevant interests must then be submitted to the Deputy Returning Officer between August 19 and 1pm on Nomination Day, August 26.
Guidance on eligibility, nomination rules, campaigning and party registration is available on the Isle of Man Government elections website.
Candidates should note it is an offence to accept support from any political party that is not registered.
