A new pop-up exhibition and cinema will honour Joey Dunlop’s historic 2000 Isle of Man TT treble, marking 25 years since his unforgettable final victories.
The event, running from August 20 to 29 at the Mercury Club near the TT Grandstand, will showcase memorabilia from his legendary career.
Joey’s treble-winning machines will take centre stage, alongside his iconic yellow helmet, leathers, trophies, and personal items.
Among the exhibits are paddock passes, an unopened champagne bottle from the Ultra Lightweight Race, and his famous race transporter. Also featured are the leathers and helmets of rivals John McGuinness MBE and Michael Rutter.
Memories
A cinema space will screen footage from the 2000 races, while a coffee bar offers a relaxed setting for fans to share memories.
On August 28 a live recording of The TT Podcast will include insights from photographer Stephen Davison, whose images from the event are displayed.
The tribute culminates with Michael Dunlop MBE riding a replica Honda SP1 in a special lap, recreating one of Joey’s most iconic moments.
Classic TT
The Classic TT will take place from Wednesday August 20 to Friday August 29.
A copy of the Classic TT schedule can be found here.
Qualifying for the Classic TT will run in tandem with the 2025 Manx Grand Races
