Beach Buddies has changed its original plan to clear up around the Quarterbridge Car Park this weekend.
Instead the charity will focus efforts on Douglas Beach this Sunday.
The charity said this is due to two events being held at the NSC at the same time as its planned clean.
It said: “We were planning to clean up around the NSC but there are two major sporting events on the same day and parking is likely to be a major issue.
“So we are moving the venue to Douglas beach and the surrounding streets. The meeting point is the slipway opposite the Palace Hotel. Our truck will be there and easy to see. We will go back to the NSC as soon as we can.”
The beach clean will be from 10:30am to 12pm.
