The Isle of Man Foodbank has been presented with a cheque for £10,000 by Peel Charity Shop.
The shop in Peel is run by volunteers and makes donations to several charities across the island.
Announcing the donation, the Foodbank said it was “totally blown away by the cheque”.
It added: “The timing is perfect for us with school holidays fast approaching and causing extra pressure for many families.”
