The Isle of Man Constabulary have been made aware of scammers targeting funerals.
Scammers are creating fake links that are pertaining to be live steams of the Facebook profile owners family members funeral.
The fraudulent post contains a link for donations and they use photos obtained from Facebook of the profile holders loved ones in order to obtain money.
The police force is reminding the public to ‘think before you click’.
