Resurfacing that was due to start today (July 22) on Greenfield Road has been delayed until next week.
The Department of Infrastructure (DoI) says that ongoing work on another site has meant that this closure will now start on July 29.
Work will start from the Glencrutchery Road junction under a road closure next week.
Resurfacing
During the closure period access to all Isle of Man College buildings, the houses at the top of Greenfield Road and Homefield Road will be from School Road, Willaston.
Initially, access to the Manx Telecom Data Centre and Centre 21 will also be from School Road, Willaston.
Once work progresses past their respective entrances access to them both will switch to the Glencrutchery Road junction.
Phase Two of Works
Once work progresses to the wider section of carriageway outside the houses at the top of Greenfield Road, the road will reopen and work will continue under traffic lights.
There will be vehicular access available from both Willaston and Glencrutchery Road. Resurfacing on Homefield Road will also be undertaken under traffic lights.
During phase two there will be restrictions to on-road parking which will change as work progresses.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout.
