Check the Buses!

Bus Vannin has warned of disruptions to services this evening due to the TT contingency road closures.

A spokesperson said: “Due to the use of this evening’s contingency session for the Isle of Man TT Races, the following services are subject to disruption in the period around the roads opening and then closing again at 1800.”

Services to and from Nobles Hospital are affected, with the operator stating they “cannot be guaranteed.”

Willaston services will operate as 22w, departing Lord Street at 1625, 1655, and 1725.

Meanwhile, the 1619 Governors Hill service from Victoria Street, Stand G, “does not serve Nobles Hospital and operates from Signpost Corner via Cronk Ny Mona to the Cat With No Tail.”

Promenade

The 1720 12a service from Lord Street, Stand D, “does not serve Willaston and operates via Ballanard Road & Jonny Watterson’s Lane.”

Promenade services are also delayed, with the operator confirming: “All services from Victoria Street G serving Promenades and Onchan are operating approximately 15 minutes late and subject to change/disruption.”

Ramsey services face diversions, including the 1537 6c to Peel via Foxdale, with a “possible delay at Kirk Michael,” while the 1637 6c to Ramsey diverts from Sulby Bridge. The 1737 6c “does not operate – please use 1748 Service 4b.”

From Ramsey, the 1615 Service 5 diverts to Sulby Bridge, and the 1705 5c is “subject to diversion from Glen Vine.” The 1730 Service 5 will divert “from Peel via Foxdale.”
