The Mitre pub in Kirk Michael is to get a refresh when its current managers leave.
There have been fears the pub would be closing after posts on social media.
However, Okell’s Inns has told Manx.News that the closure will be temporary and that the brewery has “exciting” plans for the historic pub.
This follows the recent temporary closure of the Whitestone in Ballasalla which is undergoing an extensive refit and is due to reopen in a few weeks.
