An Isle of Man Collaborative is set to host, Beyond the Island, an international Ask Me Anything event with Kenny Diack of Twisted Comics.
He will discuss his journey as a Manx entrepreneur navigating the global creative industry with a focus on his latest project: the first official comic adaptation of the popular Netflix Black Mirror episode, USS Callister.
“Comics aren’t just for kids,” says Diack. “They serve as a powerful platform for storytelling, education, and collaboration. I’m excited to share my journey and connect both the Isle of Man community and audiences worldwide.”
Comic Event
This is the first live hybrid collaborative community event on the Isle of Man, bringing together the Isle of Man business and creative community with a globalaudience.
Hazel Alvarado (BCS Isle of Man Section, IoM Code Club, HOPS Isle of Man) credits the local community as inspiration for the event.
“This event both celebrates Kenny’s journey and showcases how Isle of Man talent can create and collaborate on projects with global impact.”
It will take place on Wednesday, August 27 at Launchpad in Douglas with the main programme also being streamed live globally across multiple platforms.
