Anthony Allen has been elected to chair Onchan Commissioners for the next year.
Mr Allen replaces outgoing chair Zara Lewin who did not stand in the recent election.
Scott Wilson has been elected as vice chair, with Garbriella Corkish, the youngest member on the board, chosen to be the school education rep.
The next meeting of the board is due to take place on Tuesday May 20, starting at 7pm.
During its AGM last night, the following roles on the Board for the year were confirmed:
• Chair – Anthony Allen;
• Vice Chair – Scott Wilson;
• Lead Member for Environmental and Technical Services – David Quirk;
• Lead Member for Finance and General Purposes – Oliver Lockwood;
• Lead Member for Housing – John Hamilton;
• Isle of Man Municipal Association Representative – Robin Turton;
• Onchan School Education Representative – Gabriella Corkish;
• Eastern Civic Amenity Site Joint Committee Representative – David Quirk.
