Isle Listen has announced the return of Tough Mucka this September, with Conister Bank coming on board as headline sponsor for this year’s event.
Now in its fourth year, the obstacle course challenge has become a popular fixture, promoting resilience and teamwork while raising funds for Isle Listen’s mental health education work with young people.
With Conister Bank’s support, organisers have refreshed the course for 2026, introducing new 10km and 5km adult routes and a 2km course for younger participants.

The event layout has also been redesigned to create a more engaging day for spectators, with activity running throughout.
Obstacle sponsorship opportunities and new course elements aim to boost community involvement, while Isle Listen continues to work closely with farmers and landowners to support the event.
Fundraising lead Steven Downward said Conister Bank’s backing allows the charity to “build on the foundations of a brilliant existing event”, adding that changes for 2026 respond directly to participant feedback.
Conister Bank’s Head of Marketing, Kerry Waddington, said the bank is proud to support an event that brings people of all ages together and showcases “the Island at its best”.
Early‑bird entry is £35 until 12pm on May 22.
