Culture Vannin is staging two free Manx Folk Awards roadshow concerts this month.
They will give young performers another chance to showcase their Manx music, song, dance, poetry and Gaelic skills after a record‑breaking year for the competition.
The concerts will take place at Trinity Methodist Church in Douglas on Sunday, May 10 at 2.30pm, and at the Peel Centenary Centre on Sunday, May 17 at 2.30pm.
Each event will feature different performers from across the island.
Organisers say the roadshows offer families who couldn’t attend the awards week an opportunity to see the performances, while also giving young people the chance to meet others with an interest in Manx culture.
Audience members are encouraged to bring their Mannin Aboo Passports, with Culture Vannin offering “Cultoor/Culture” stamps in exchange for a simple Manx greeting.
Entry is free and open to all. Culture Vannin has thanked the Domestic Event Fund, teachers, group leaders, schools and parents for supporting the concerts.
