Hospice Isle of Man’s first ever ‘Big Corporate Challenge’ raised over £5,000 for the charity, which will go directly to supporting patient care.
The event was held on July 27 at Douglas Rugby Club and it saw over 80 competitors from various local businesses and organisations competing in some challenges, tackling giant inflatables and getting very wet, all in the name of fundraising.
Each team paid £500 to enter the event, and they all absolutely rose to the challenge of enjoying the day, and the feedback from the event has been fantastic.

Vanessa Smith, Head of Income Generation at Hospice Isle of Man said: “On behalf of everyone at Hospice Isle of Man, I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported us at the event, as well as all of our competitors.
“Every penny raised from the event goes towards our specialist palliative and end of life care services and support, so it’s absolutely fantastic to see local businesses supporting our patients and their loved ones.”
Plan.com were crowned this year’s winners and Hospice looks forward to seeing if the business will defend its winning title and see success again in 2025.
