Manx Harriers competitor Regan Corrin will make his team Great Britain debut at the European Championship this week in Slovakia.
Corrin’s confirmation that he would represent Great Britain in the high jump at the Under 18 European Track and Field Championships came in June.
The championships are held at Banksa Bystrica in Slovakia from July 18-21.
Corrin has had a phenomenal season so far making history in another discipline as he became the first ever Manx athlete to surpass the seven-metre mark in the long jump.
As for the high jump, in the last 12 months Corrin won men’s gold at the 2023 Island Games and won the England Under-17 high jump title in Birmingham last year.
