A by-election is going to be held in Onchan for one new commissioner.
Residents wanting to put themselves forward have from 10am on October 9 to 1pm on October 16 to submit their nomination papers.
It was sparked by the resignation of the now former Commissioner Fenella Logan who wanted to spend free time with her family.
If more than two people come forward, an election will take place on November 14.
Nomination papers and forms can be found on the government website or the commissioner’s website.
Applications for postal votes from the Isle of Man need to be in by the November 6, and those from the UK are asked to be in no later than October 31.
A proxy vote application must be applied for by November 13.
