The following cases appeared before Deemster Cook at the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Anthony McCabe, who has previously admitted assault causing grievous bodily harm after he punched a man in April, appeared for an update to the case ahead of his sentencing in September.
The court heard the prosecution is waiting for reports on the injuries sustained by the victim.
He will be sentenced on September 6.
A teenager has appeared in court charged with one count of burglary.
Michael Brennan, 19, of Douglas, is accused of burgling the house on Barrule Drive in July.
He denies the charge and will stand trial in January, bail was granted until then.
Magistrates
The following cases were heard by magistrates.
Thomas Kneale, 21, of Ramsey, has appeared charged with destroying property.
The case was adjourned for two weeks.
Mr Kneale will next appear on August 20.
He was bailed with a condition not to go into The Ramsey Trawlerman.
Lee Willis, 36, of Douglas has appeared charged with two counts of having an illegal substance in his possession.
It is alleged he heroin and cannabis on his person on two dates in May, a claim he denies.
Willis was bailed to his next appearance on November 1.
A woman who is accused of wonder with intent is to challenge her committal to the higher court.
Lorraine Hicklin’s advocate Jim Travers informed the court he was seeking an adjournment to allow for the challenge hearing to he held.
She was bailed until October 3 when the application will be heard by the Deputy High Bailiff.
A man is to stand trial accused of attempted burglary.
Ryan Kneen, 33, denies the charge and will next appear before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood for his trial on October 25.
Bail was granted until then.
A teenager accused of having cannabis in his possession has been cleared after the charge was withdrawn.
Samuel Drahos, 17, of Douglas accepted a caution from prosecutors.
