The following cases were heard by magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
James Hinchcliffe, 38, of Glen Vine, has appeared in court charged with assault, damage to property and disorderly behaviour on licensed premises.
No pleas were entered and the case was adjourned for three weeks at the request of his advocate Jim Travers.
Mr Hinchcliffe was bailed until August 29.
Stephen Kenneth Hall, 48, of Ballaugh, has denied an allegation of failing to provide a breath sample.
The case was adjourned for a pre-trial review which will be held on October 3.
Marc Duncan, 37, of Douglas, has been cleared of one charge of being drunk and disorderly.
Prosecutors withdrew the charge, telling the court it was not in the public interest to continue it.
Mr Duncan was therefore found not guilty, no defence costs were sought or awarded.
A case has been adjourned indefinitely as the defendant has apparently left the island.
Hayden Millar, 43, of Castletown, was charged with having no vehicle licence or insurance.
However, prosecutors said they had received information which said he had returned to New Zealand.
The case was adjourned sine die incase he chooses to return.
Alex Kennedy, 50, of Colby, has been remanded in custody.
The prosecution alleges that Mr Kenned has committed domestic abuse after a string of incident involving an on-off partner.
He gave no plea and had sought a two week adjournment with bail to appoint an advocate.
However, magistrates decided to remand Mr Kennedy and he will next appear on August 15.
Pacifique Kubwimana, 41, of Douglas, has appeared in court charged with fraud by false representation and providing a fraudulent statement to obtain a driving licence.
The case was adjourned for two weeks with no pleas being entered.
Mr Kubwimana was bailed to his next appearance on August 23.
