Alexa and Aalish Crowe who are two cousins that plan to walk the 37.7 mile TT Course in memory of Aalish’s dad Steven.
The two will start at The Swan in Ramsey on August 4 and aim to complete it within 24 hours.
All money raised from the walk will go to Hospice Isle of Man which cared for was Steven after he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in late 2022.
Formerly the head of the ambulance service, Steve’s passing was mourned across the island including the organisations he was involved in on a volunteer basis such as St John Ambulance and the Woodland Trust.
The girls said: “Not only did the hospice support the whole family in every way possible, they did everything in their power to make sure Steven was as comfortable and pain-free as he could be.
“The work that Hospice do for our island is outstanding and we want to be able to give something back.”
The girls previously walked the Millennium Way in 2022 to raise money for the for Great North Air Ambulance Service.
