The Chief Minister has confirmed plans for a Covid-19 memorial garden will remain ‘on hold’.
Politicians backed plans for the garden in 2021 but no progress has been made since then.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse raised the memorial garden plan in this week’s Tynwald sitting.
Chief Minister Alfred Cannan said the original proposed figure of £150,000 was likely to have increased.
“I’m sure this project will eventually get some traction but it depends on the bids which now go in.” he said.
