Jamie Coward will lead the expanded Rapid Honda Drivelife team’s ambitious 2026 plans, headlining their debut at this year’s TT.
Coward, a proven front-runner on the Mountain Course, is the centrepiece of the team’s step into road racing.
He will pilot a Honda Fireblade in the RST Superbike, two RL360 Superstock, and the Senior TT races, alongside competing on a Rapid Honda CBR600 in the two Supersport contests.
“I’d really like to thank everyone involved with Rapid Honda and Drivelife,” Coward said. “It’s a fresh start for myself and I’m really motivated and super excited to get going with the new team and team mates and I am really looking forward to what lies ahead.”

The team explicitly linked their road racing ambitions to Coward’s appointment, stating: “The TT has long been a passion for numerous members in the team.
“To have a rider with the calibre and experience of Jamie Coward on board just makes us even more motivated to do well.”
In addition to his TT campaign, Coward will contest selected rounds of the Pirelli National Superstock Championship within the British Superbike series alongside the team’s full-time BSB riders, Ash Barnes and Declan ‘Deco’ Connell.
Team Owner Matt Bainbridge emphasised Coward’s pivotal role, saying: “Jamie, Deco and Ash all have the potential to be on the top step in 2026 and we shall be doing everything we can to support them towards that goal.”
