Customs & Excise Office to Move

Isle of Man Government Office, Douglas

The Customs and Excise office will be relocating to Central Government Offices on Bucks Road.

The Customs and Immigration Division has operated from two separate buildings since the merger of Customs and Excise services with Passport, Immigration and Nationality services in January 2024.

The public counter at Custom House on North Quay will close at 2pm on Friday, December 12 and reopen on the ground floor of Central Government Offices from 10am on Monday, December 15.

Offices to Move

Services for passports, immigration, nationality, customs and excise duties and VAT will be available during normal opening hours of 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday.

Bringing key services under one roof will make it easier for customers to access support while maintaining service standards.

Business customers will also benefit by visiting a single location for both direct taxes such as Income Tax and indirect taxes such as VAT.

Phone, email and online services will remain unaffected during this period.
