DAO and Brookes Readying For TT

DAO Racing will make their return to the TT in 2026, with Josh Brookes contesting the big-bike races aboard a Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade.

The Cumbria-based squad, regular TT contenders between 2014 and 2023, enjoyed their most successful period with Dean Harrison, taking Supersport victory in 2018 and Senior TT honours in 2019.

After focusing on British Superbikes in recent seasons, the team will now campaign all 1000cc events, including the Superbike TT, both Superstock TT races, and the Senior TT.

Brookes, a double TT podium finisher who recorded a 134.056mph lap in the 2024 Senior TT, believes the continuity will prove crucial.

“It gives me a lot of confidence ahead of the 2026 Isle of Man TT,” Brookes said.

“I think staying with one team throughout the whole process is a far better environment to work in, the equipment will be to the highest standard, something in which DAO Racing prides itself on.”

Team manager Jonny Bagnall added: “It’ll be exciting to see how we get on, the roads were our pedigree, it’s how the team started back in 2014. We want to have a fast and safe road racing season.”
