University College Isle of Man has announced that its first Adult Learning Festival will take place from April 18 to 24, with all events free to attend.
The week long programme will showcase opportunities for lifelong learning across the island, offering workshops, demonstrations, presentations and course tasters led by UCM tutors and guest facilitators.
Sessions will run at different times throughout the day to make the festival accessible to people with work, family or other commitments.

Events will cover a wide range of subjects, from digital skills and AI to beauty therapy and catering. UCM will also share learning content online for those unable to attend in person.
Kerry Birchall, UCM’s Adult Learning Manager, said the festival is designed to support both personal development and professional growth.
“Whether it’s enjoying a new hobby or developing skills for career progression, lifelong learning is vital for individuals and for the wider business community,” she said.

The festival coincides with Guernsey’s Adult Learning Festival.
