VillaGaiety’s rental takings have swung widely since 2023, while vacancy losses continue to climb this year.
Data was revealed by the Minister for the Department of Education, Sport and Culture Daphne Caine MHK in response to a written question from Julie Edge MHK.
The Figures provided show Units A, B and C brought in between £22,863 and £50,032 a year, inclusive of VAT, across the 2023/24 and 2024/25 periods.
So far in 2025/26, income ranges from £16,136 to £33,799. The department notes that revenue includes facility charges, tenant services and rent.
Vacancy costs have increased year‑on‑year, with expected income lost during empty periods rising from £23,470 in 2023/24 to £35,794 so far this year.
The estimates are based on advertised market rates.
