This morning patchy rain will develop, this then becoming briefly heavy in the evening as Storm Dave arrives.
Maximum temperature 11°C, with winds progressively getting stronger as the day goes on, reaching severe gale force later in the evening and at first tomorrow night.
Gusts of 60-70 mph will occur widely, and up to 80 mph in places, this likely to cause some damage.
Through the rest of tonight coastal overtopping will affect some areas at high tide (2am), with winds then easing markedly by dawn.
Easter Weekend
Sunday will see a risk of a few showers to start, then dry with sunny intervals.
Not so windy with a W or SW 15-20, quickly increasing 20-25, decreasing 15-20 in the evening, then backing S or SE 10-15 overnight.
Thankfully things improve come Easter Monday as it is forecast to be dry and bright with sunny spells.
Tuesday isn’t so joyful as it’s forecast to be cloudy with outbreaks of rain later on.
