Health Minister Claire Christian has met with the Medical Staff Committee to discuss concerns raised about bed capacity at Noble’s.
]Doctors at Noble’s Hospital have called for immediate government intervention to address what they describe as a critical shortfall in inpatient bed capacity.
In a statement released tonight the government said: “The Department of Health and Social Care Minister and Interim Chief Officer both met the Medical Staff Committee yesterday, alongside Manx Care representatives, when the concerns raised were discussed.
“The department is committed to working alongside Manx Care to examine the operational issues and looks forward to continuing the dialogue with clinicians to map a clear way forward.”
