DOI issues guidance on how to use pedestrian crossing

The Department of Infrastructure has issued advice on how to use a pedestrian crossing.

Work is currently ongoing to upgrade the crossing on Victoria Road in Douglas.

The existing crossing is made to be a puffin crossing as part of planning consent for the new Summerhill View residential home.

Highways officials have now published guidance on how to use a puffin crossing which essentially involves pressing a button and waiting for the green man.
