St Johns Produce Show has presented two brilliant charities with donations after its best fundraising year ever.
Throughout the year it raised £4,210, which has been split between Foxdale Heritage Centre and Peel RNLI.
Organisers said: “On Saturday September 16, at Tynwald Mills, Sue Staley (Chairman), Geoffrey Bell (Treasurer); Sandra Cowell (Secretary), Kirsty Kneen and Geoff Kneen (Committee Members), were delighted to present Stuart Lambie Foxdale Heritage & Foxdale Heritage Centre Chairman and Helen Dickinson Peel RNLI Lifeboat Treasurer, each a Cheque for £2,105
“A huge thank you to everyone who supported our 2024 Show, too many to mention but each and everyone of our supporters contributed to helping us raise this amount.”
Peel RNLI thanked the organisers, saying: “Such community support is vital to providing essential training for our volunteers and maintaining our operations.”
