Sean Doyle grabbed three goals as the Isle of Man mens team won their opening game at the Orkney Island Games.
Chris Bass JNR’s side beat Hitra 7-2 to began their campaign with a win.
Skipper Frank Jones grabbed the first goal in the opening moments before Dan Simpson made it 2-0 inside seven minutes.
The Norwegian islanders pulled one back from the spot in the ninth minute before Jamie Callister restored the two goal lead in the 18th minute.
Hitra got another from the spot in shortly after before Doyle grabbed his first to make it 4-2 at the break.
The Manx men sealed the win with three second half penalties as Lee Gale scored one and Doyle slotted in two in three minutes to make it 7-2 and an ideal start for Bass’ side.
The women’s side face Gorzo at 7pm tonight.
