The Police have issued advice to drivers after feedback from schools.
Officers have issued three key lessons for drivers.
Stick to the speed limits and observe school signs.
Avoid parking in restricted areas.
Always follow the crossing patrols.
The Constabulary said: “We have been listening to feedback from social media, parents, teachers and children, and monitoring what’s happening around our schools. Some of our primary school children have even been working hard on posters to highlight key road safety messages.
“hilst you may want to keep your child safe getting into school often where you choose to park or drop off causes danger for other children and road users. Let’s work together to create a safe environment for all our children!”
