The island’s second joint adult’s and children’s safeguarding week will run from November 11 to 15.
Hosted by the Isle of Man Safeguarding Board, members of the public and professionals will have the opportunity to learn more about child and adult exploitation, and the services and support available on the Island.
Public drop-in sessions for awareness and understanding of adult exploitation will be held at four Wellbeing Partnerships across the Island.
- Monday, November 11: Adult Exploitation drop in from 10am-12pm at Ramsey Town Hall;
- Wednesday, November 13: Exploitation Workshop with case Studies from 9:30am – 12:30pm at Keyll Derree – Places are limited to 26 on

- Wednesday, November 13: Adult Exploitation Drop In from 2pm – 4pm at Henry Bloom Noble Library;
- Thursday, November 14: Adult Exploitation Drop In from 10am – 12pm at Jurby Community Centre;
- Thursday, November 14: A training session on ‘Exploitation’ from 12:30pm – 2pm at Seminar Room 2 in Keyll Darree – Please contact Karen Wright. These are also limited to 26 per session;
