Entries are now open for the Elevate You Awards, with women across the island invited to put themselves forward or be nominated, for recognition as leaders, entrepreneurs and changemakers.
Founded by local entrepreneur Louise Wheeler, of LC Consultancy, the awards return for their second year on September 17 at Woodbourne House, building on the strong response to last year’s inaugural event.
Louise said the awards continue to highlight the contribution women make to the island’s business community, adding that many participants last year “felt seen, valued and recognised for the work they do”.
She also encouraged more men to get involved as allies, noting their role in supporting greater female representation in leadership.
This year’s programme features four categories: Solopreneur of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Leader of the Year, and a new publicly nominated title, Inspirational Woman of the Year.
Headline sponsor FIM Capital has renewed its support. Chief operating officer Sara Collister said the company is proud to back an initiative that continues to make a positive impact.
