Entries have now opened for Manx Tri Club’s brand new event, the 1886 Supersprint Triathlon Relay.
The Supersprint Relay on July 21 is open to anyone who is aged 15 and over as of December 2024.
Teams of three competing, all of whom will complete a triathlon at the following distances (handing over to their teammates on completion):
- 400 metre swim (Mooragh Park Lake)
- 6km bike (Mooragh Promenade)
- 2.2 km run (around the lake)
Entries can be made several ways, either as a team of three competitors or as an individual where Manx Tri Club will allocate you a team.
Friendly tri event
The ethos of this event is not about who can go the quickest (though do go feel free to go quick as you can!) but to get as many people involved in an accessible and friendly environment.
Full details on event set up, maps, arrangements on the day will be given closer to the time.
