The Masson family of Ballacricket Farm have been announced as one of the winners of the Holstein UK Master Breeder Awards for 2025.
Recognising herds that excel in classification, production, and longevity, the awards celebrated 10 farms across the British Isles.
The only non-England based farm to be recognised, the Massons said they were “unbelievably proud of our little herd in the Isle of Man“.
Holstein UK said: “This prestigious award recognises herds that excel in classification, production, and longevity.
“Those females bred by the herd who have produced a recorded lactation within the past two years receive points which are averaged to determine the winning herds.”
Isle of Man Creamery added its own congratulations, saying: “We hope you’re celebrating with a big glass of the white stuff!”
