The Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG) have confirmed multiple talks for the 2024 calendar.
It is inviting all to try and join it and share to all in the farming community and supporters of wildlife alike.
The talks
The first event will be ‘Challenges to Farming and Wildlife of Current Weather Patterns on the Isle of Man’.
The speaker will be former Met Man, Adrian Cowin and held at 7.30pm on Wednesday, March 27 at Knockaloe Classroom, Patrick.
Next up is an ‘Evening Talk by the FWAG UK Silver Lapwing Judges’ on Tuesday, May 14 – Time and venue to be confirmed.
On June 13 and 14, field workshops and talks with Stuart Johnson will take place.
Stuart is a Northumberland farmer who is the Farm Carbon Toolkit Soil Farmer of the year 2023.
Farm walks
If you are able to provide a walk venue during the summer evenings FWAG would be pleased to hear of your ideas.
