Fire breaks out in basement of Douglas hotel

Fire crews responded to reports of building fire in Douglas yesterday.

Firefighters were sent to the Regency Hotel on Queen’s Promenade.

A small fire was located in the basement of the hotel and extinguished using a high pressure hose reel.

Crews checked the area for hot spots using a thermal imaging camera.
