Douglas crews from the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service dealt with a house fire on Whitebridge Road, Onchan last night (June 2).
The service says that the fire was confined to a faulty oil fired boiler, the occupants had isolated the electrical supply to the boiler and closed all doors and waited outside for crews attendance.
Two BA with a hose reel damped down and checked for any hot spots.
