By-elections in Jurby, Ramsey South, Ballaugh, Douglas Central and Port Erin have been announced for the middle of next month.
The elections are being held to fill existing vacancies for membership of the five local authorities.
Polling day for contested elections is scheduled for Thursday July 17.
Polling stations will be open from 8am to 8pm.
Nominations to stand for election open today and close at 1pm on Wednesday June 18.
A further election will be required to fill the vacancy on Onchan’s board.
The Crown and Elections team at the Cabinet Office advises that voters wishing to cast their ballot on polling day need to be registered on the electoral register by the deadline date of Tuesday June 24.
